Stacey, nanny in Waterloo

Hi! My name is Stacey. I am looking for a new family to offer my part time nanny services to. I am a friendly, enthusiastic and caring individual specialising in the care of new-born infants up to the age of two years. Over my career, I have worked as a Health Promotion Worker in a Children’s Centre, a private nanny, a room leader in the baby room of a private day nursery, and also trained as a midwife at the University of Manchester, working at St Mary’s Hospital.
My varied experience has equipped me with numerous skills relating to the care, support and development of children from birth to the age of five. Through the children’s centre, I currently deliver courses to parents including safety in the home, introducing solids, cooking classes and healthy eating for children, as well as a baby massage course. I deliver groups to children exploring tummy time for the little ones and supporting the learning and development of children through the EYFS framework.
I have worked as a Nanny in Manchester, supporting the care and learning of a three year old and prior to this a family with five boys under the age of ten. I have completed a Certificate in Early Years Practice (equivalent to NVQ level 4) securing my knowledge of childcare and education. I hold a current paediatric first aid certificate and am a certified IAIM infant massage instructor.
Training as a midwife in Manchester has provided me with knowledge and experience of supporting parents in the postnatal period. This coupled with my experience in the children’s centre has provided me with a unique skillset which I can bring to your child and family as a nanny.
I am more than happy to complete some domestic chores. I know how time consuming having children in the house can be so am happy to do the shopping and prepare meals, hoover up, do the pots and put on a load or two of washing. Whilst I do love to get down and make a mess with the children, I always make sure I clean up afterwards.
