Amy, nanny in Wellington

Hi, I'm Amy and I am a 20 year old waitress looking for a new career path in something I love doing. I am hard-working, friendly, polite, well spoken and creative with a love of arts and crafts! I work nearly 40 hours a week running around after demanding, hungry adults so have no trouble running around after demanding, hungry kids!!

I have always loved children and have always wanted to get into childcare but decided to go into full time work at the time rather than go down the uni path. My mum was a registered child-minder for 23 years so I grew up learning how to change nappies and keep children entertained! I regularly look after my friends 18 month old daughter and 3 month old son on my days off and used to babysit my niece and little cousin from birth until they were old enough for school!

I feel extremely confident minding children of any age and have 12 GCSE's at grades A-C (including English Lang, Spanish and ICT at grade A and English Lit, Maths and Science at grade B) so would love to be able to help with homework of any level.

I am currently taking part in an Apprenticeship at a local secondary school and so I am CRB/DBS checked and first aid trained. However, due to personal circumstances, I am no longer able to continue with the apprenticeship and am looking to relocate to the Gloucestershire/Wiltshire area in around July.

I am ideally looking to care for children between the hours of 8-6 but am flexible and can babysit of an evening. I do drive and have access to my own vehicle so would be able to take them to school and pick them up again as well as take them out to places like the park. I would be willing to make them dinner and help with homework but would love to look after a younger one thoughout the day.
