Leanne, nanny in West horndon CM13

Hello, my names Leanne, I'm 22 years of age, currently working as a nanny within the basildon area. Prior to starting my nanny role I worked in a nursery for around 4 years working my way up within the setting, becoming a room leader for ages 0-15 months. Whilst working within the nursery setting I completed my childcare level 3 qualifications, alongside this I did a behavioural management course, paedatric first aid and development training. Within my time in the nursery I worked with ages from 0 right up to 11 years of age. After a few years of working in the setting I decided I would like to further my career and go into a nannying role. I started working for the family I am currently with in September 2013, when their child was just 5 weeks old. I have sole charge of their child Monday to Friday. Some of my roles and responsibilities amongst others, have included making bottles, bathing, changing nappies, weaning process, preparing and cooking meals, household cleaning duties, providing a journal of development, taking their child to groups and swimming lessons. I am a reliable and friendly nanny, who is passionate about working with children and able to encourage their learning and development through activities and play. I feel I have enough experience, knowledge and understanding within childcare and could benefit your family.
