Dear Parents and Guardians,

I know finding a new or first time nanny is a daunting experience for both yourself and the child/children.
Trolling through the 100s of profiles and applications can be time consuming and frustrating at times.
So why should you stop looking and pick me to join your family?
I’m far from your average Mary Poppins (as no one is that perfect) but I try my best to keep a balance of fun but firm approach when it comes to working with children whilst working alongside the parents.
If you wake up in the morning not wanting to go to work you are defiantly in the wrong job/line of work.
My everyday experiences working with children are so rewarding to be able to watch children flourish under my care by becoming their own person, being privileged enough to be entrusted to help with the crucial part of each child's key millstones and educational development needs.
Childcare isn't just sitting down and playing, its also about having an input and shaping children's future's, supporting children to learn and grow, developing key skills for day to day life, nurturing though the highs and the lows and creating a safe environment for the children to feel loved.
As much as we believe we are teaching and the children are learning from ourselves we are also learning so much from them.
So a bit about me....

l have been working with children as a nanny for just over 13 years in this time I have worked with children from newborn to 11 years old. I have been a full and part time sole charge nanny, a night nanny, maternity nurse, hoc sitter, holiday nanny, weekend, proxy parent and overnight nanny. I am also a mum to a beautiful little 12 year old boy who keeps reminding me he is no longer a little boy (but he will always be my little boy even when he is 50)
I am a qualified maternity nurse with an enhanced DBS/CRB check, full clean UK driver's license, First Aid qualified and hold a SIA licence. Hopefully soon I will be able to further my career and become a children's sleep consultant.
In my years of being a nanny I have worked with many children with different characters, backgrounds and behaviours which has taught me no two children are the same, So what might work for one might not work for the other. My expertises are to remain calm and adapt to any stressful situations which funny enough I enjoy all the challenges that comes with my occupation. As at times my job can be challenging but learning from and analysing these challenging situations only helps me to gain and thrive in my industry.
I have worked with many families short & long term plus I am in regular contact and still sit for some of the families I have worked with in the past.
I provide a stimulated age appropriate structured routine and encourage the children to make healthy and positive choices in life.
I am a big believer in routine and organisation. It is important for me to follow each individuals families routine and structure, however I able to think on my feet and implement my own structured routine if the Family deem this necessary.
