Joanne, nanny in Willington

My name is Joanne, I am 46 years old and I’m currently living in Oxford but looking to commute to my birth town of Newcastle. I am looking to become a nanny, childminder or support worker.
I am currently working in a nursery school, taking care of both mainstream and sen children aged 2-4.
I have been working in the same nursery for 11 years as a TA, support worker and a wraparound leader for before and after school club and also holiday club.
I have experience planning term time activities for children in nursery, wraparound care and holiday club. Setting up activities to suit children's ages and needs with different themes each term. I have lead carried out risk assessments for outdoor excursions to the wildwoods, parks, shops and museums. I am dsl trained and regularly have updated training, filled out communication logs accident forms accordingly. I am trustworthy, caring, efficient and punctual. I have good communication with parents and like to keep them updated with child’s development using tapestry, dojo and letting them know how their day has been during each session. I show empathy when meeting new children and gradually become their friend during home visits and short session visits to start.
