I have considerable experience as a nursery nurse dealing with infants and children up to the age of 7. This has entailed key input into the Foundation Phase of their development including the planning and implementation of various craft, literacy and numeracy tasks and activities. I have also taken responsibility for more practical duties such as feeding and changing and administering medication. In addition, I have regular, active involvement with the parents and families, giving feedback on the development of their children which is monitored by completing progress reports and developmental files.

I have studied a broad range of subjects and contemporary issues in relation to children, youth, education, and psychology and have attained a Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education.
