Hello
I have worked in a baby room in a Montessori nursery for 3 years and have recently relocated to another setting as a baby room supervisor. I hold a level 3 Diploma and have recently gained my level 4 qualification as I am studying a degree in Working with Children and Young People which is ongoing.
Nannying has always been a job I have wanted to do but the right job has never been advertised at the right time. I have only been in my new job for just over a month, but it is quite clear to me that I need something that is going to support me with my university studies as this current job isn't doing so. I also really enjoy the fact that nannying is much more 1-1 with the children rather than being 1 of 20 in a room with other children.
I consider myself to be very creative, love to get messy and stuck in! I am a bubbly and active soon to be 23 year old with a partner who is a farmer and I live in Easingwold. I have a thorough knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and plan activities around the stages and goals that children should be meeting as well as making them exciting and enjoyable! I love being outside and nannying would allow fantastic opportunities involving the outdoors!
As a nanny, I would follow and track the children's development by following the correct curriculum that best supports their age range. I would create a learning journey and support it with evidence, such as photographs and artwork.
If you could let me know in a bit more detail what it is your exactly wanting and the hours etc. Also what your children's routine is ... Nursery drop off or care throughout the whole day, bedtime, cooking meals, washing etc. This way I can see if this post is something I am interested in and then we can discuss things further if needed :)
Home nanny | $8.00 per hour |
The rate of pay will purely depend on the job being filled ... Whether that may be looking after 1 child or 4 children etc. The hours and the responsibilities of the job I.e. Cleaning or pick up/drop offs or full time care etc will all be considered when deciding on an hourly rate
Sophie can provide references from recent employers
