Sophie, occasional childcare - B11 Birmingham

Hi I'm Sophie,

I am a very down to earth, trustworthy individual. I always strive to work to the best of my ability.

I have been working part time as a nanny in London. I was previously studying music at the Institute Of Contemporary Music Performance in Kilburn. Although music is my passion, I also really enjoy looking after children. I have been babysitting for 9 years and have really enjoyed forming a bond with the kids.

I understand it takes hard work and consideration at all times. I really enjoy the reward for looking after children. I feel like this skill is something I could develop more. I would love the opportunity to build up more experience and am very willing to adapt to every childs individual need.

My hobbies and interests are singing and dancing, I studied Musical Theatre and now have decided to just focus on my singing. I am very outgoing, energetic and passionate about anything that I'm doing. I work hard and like to keep organised and motivated at all times, I would love the opportunity to develop my skills with children.

I have been babysitting, since the age of 15. Through the past 11 years, I feel I have built up a thorough understanding of how best to look after children. This has made me realise that I would like to do this as a job and I find it very rewarding. I feel I have a natural ability to speak and understand children. I am very patient, understanding and sensitive to each individual.

Through all my experience I feel, this has given me a real insight into what its like to look after children and how you must remain responsible, kind and caring at all times.
I have gradually built up the confidence and knowledge in understanding how to best look after each child.

During my last post as a nanny I was looking after 2 children, picking them up from school, helping with home work, cooking them supper, playing games with them and making sure they are happy in my care. Occasionally I babysat them. I really enjoyed this role.

I am currently available 2 -3 days a week. I am also available evenings for babysitting. I can babysit on the weekends if needed.
