My name is Asha and i am a 22 year old Drama and English literature Graduate. i currently work in retail but enjoy helping others and looking after young children.
I am a happy and fun loving individual with a huge love of creativity, which comes from my degree and nature.
Whilst i do not have a childcare qualification, i have been fully CRB/ DBS checked and have worked with young children before hand. (however i am more than willing to pay for another one) at university i worked for the Widening Participation department which gave me more experience with young people and teenagers as well, and in addition helped me use my DBS.
I encourage young people to paint pictures, draw and dance to music. I also love the outdoors and am happy to take children to their local park and go on the swings and the slide with them (as i also enjoy these things) I am very respectful of the homeowners and their home as they have been kind enough to let me into their space, i will always offer other services such as light housework and shopping if those would be helpful to the parents.
As i do not drive i am unable to do school pick ups via a car, however if the children are used to public transport i am more than willing to familiarise myself with the local bus routes and the school stops.
I am also respectful of discipline and rules surrounding bad behaviour and bed/bath times and will follow these rules.
Occasional babysitting | $7.00 per hour |
Partial / after-school care | $7.10 per hour |
I am happy to work for minimum wage (or around that amount) as i do not drive i need a little more money to get regular bus tickets/ trains/taxis if needed. If i am asked to stay overnight i will happily discuss rates with the family concerned.
With part time care i charge a little more (5p-10p) as i will be doing other chores in addition to helping with the children. I have a high standard of cleanliness in my own flat but i always ask the homeowner if they would like me to polish/dust or hoover and tidy etc
No recommendations yet, soon it will be your turn?
