Hi my name is Gemma, I'm 21 and currently a student still. I am an enthusiastic and bubbly person who has always loved working with children. From looking after my relatives from a young age I knew that I wanted a career in working with children. Through my health & social care course i have built skills that are needed to look after children, and also from this course I had experience working with children within a school setting, in both mainstream and in a special needs school, which from this I went onto volunteer after my placement was finished within the special needs school. I am currently studying a degree in psychology which I hope to go onto do my PGCE to become a special needs primary school teacher or an educational psychologist to also work with children.
Occasional babysitting | $7.50 per hour |
Partial / after-school care | $8.00 per hour |
The reason why I think £7.50 per hour for babysitting is a fair as its not much about minimum wage for my age group, also if I have to travel to your home I need my wage to be able to cover that also. For part-time care I think £8.00 an hour the reason being there is extra care being done, like chores around the house & also maybe involving lifting the children from school.
