I am an honest, reliable, presentable and hardworking individual. I have a positive attitude to all aspects of my work. I am an organised, pleasant and co-operative person; I am fully committed to everything I do. I am able to adapt to new environments and also able to communicate with people from different cultural backgrounds. I am a calibre, dynamic individual who is keen to begin a career in the children and young people’s workforce field. I am a very thoughtful and creative character and enjoy working with children; I consider this to be a strong motivator alongside my dedication and commitment to successfully qualify with a recognised qualification in childcare. I am currently on placement at BonBons day nursery as part of my level 3 child care course.

MY WORK EXPERIENCE:
Bon Bons day nursery
The tasks I commence on this work scheme are:
- Organising activities for the children by following all areas of learning and the EYFS (early year’s foundation stage).
- Undertaking children’s observations and connecting them to the areas of learning.
- Ensuring the children’s care and safety is all in perspective.
- Undertaking risk assessments and outdoor risk assessments.
- Laying and cleaning the dinner and tea table, and interacting with the children whilst their eating.
- Activities include; reading, writing, painting, singing nursery rhymes and playing with the play dough.
- Monitoring the children in all areas.
- Organising festival events.
- Taking the children on trips e.g. to the park, vet shops or for a walk.
- Understanding and maintaining confidentiality between parents/carers and children.
- I hold a current DBS check.

I also have previous work experience in administration work e.g. at
- Solicitors &
- Doctors surgery

MY INTERESTS:
I have a wide variety of interests, which I pursue in my leisure time. These include:
- Attending the gym regularly to keep fit.
- Reading both fictional and non-fictional material to broaden my knowledge.
- Organising and participating in fundraising events.
- I enjoy doing voluntary work and helping out in the community.
- I am an outgoing friendly individual who likes to see all the colours of life also in my spare time I like to socialise with my friends and family over a meal or movie.
