Catherine, occasional childcare - BS20 Portishead

Hello.
I am generally known as Kate, am 61 yrs old and recently retired after spending over 25 years as a child and family support worker with Bristol City Council. I also have experience of fostering a family group of siblings in a respite capacity for up to three weeks at a time at my home.
All of my work has involved regular and ongoing training in child development and wellbeing anam used to working both in a team and on my own initiative. I have had first aid training in the past but am not currently up to date.
I share a large house with my younger sister and her two children (16yrs and 20yrs of age) although the older child is now at university and only returns in school holidays and some weekends.
We have two dogs and three cats who are all rescue animals
I am involved with dog training groups and love gardening - growing vegetables and flowers in my own garden.
I have lived in Portishead for 6 years and previously lived in Coombe Dingle, Bristol.
We are about to move to another house in Portishead and will remain in this area for a long time as my sister and I love the area so much.
I am now looking for part time work to occupy myself and provide a small income and am applying for child care positions that will allow me to retain some flexibility while giving me an interest.
