Hello! I am Chiara a cheerful, caring and responsible Italian girl.

I am looking for a part-time job as babysitter, mother's help, after school help or weekend help...

I am currently Studying English and American literature at the University of Kent, however I love spending time with children; and for this reason I started working with them since an early age. First as a scout leader, role involving a lot of activity planning, responsibility, inventiveness and quickness in decision making, and later as summer camp counsellor both in Italy and in Canada. In these positions, I have learned how to plan fun activities, always keeping a positive attitude, patience and awareness of what is going on at all times. I have also worked as assistant in a centre for mentally challenged people in Germany where I have learned to always look at the bright side of life, being thankful for what we have and the importance of a smile.

I have also worked ad au pair once in 2011, for three months, looking after two boys aged 6 and 9; and later in 2013, for 6 months, looking after a 2 year old girl. This role as au pair made me more aware of the responsibilities occurring while working and the importance of a balanced life. Furthermore, since 2011, my family has taken on a probation child and therefore I am also acquainted and have experience with children with social difficulties and problems of different nature.

All these experiences were fundamental for the development of my interpersonal skills and personality; they have helped me become the positive, energetic, hardworking, open-minded, and cheerful person I am today. I would love to work for a family looking after their children, cooking for them (I love cooking Italian food), helping them with homework and organizing fun games for them and so on.
