Laura, occasional childcare in Clapworthy

Hello,
My name is Laura and I am a young woman with drive and a strong work ethic. I currently work in a children's home and am trained to a high professional standard to deal with challenging behaviour and have experience with a variety of ages and personalities. I will be studying within the next year a level 3 diploma in childcare with my current employer. I work with children aged 8-18 currently but have experience with minor learning difficulties and have baby sat younger children also. I enjoy anything creative and love to promote creative and experimental hobbies with children I look after. I would describe myself as a laid back character and love being social. I have also done work experience in a school for 2 weeks and practised reading to the children, playing games and assisting with school work. I also love anything to do with being outdoors and think children should get immersed in nature as much as possible. I used to work for a honey farm and taught children the importance of bees! Currently I work up to 3 days until late in the evening however have many days and evenings spare. I have an advanced DBS check that has been recently updated. I would love to hear from yourself if you need any help with the kids! I am more than happy to get on with jobs around the house too.
