Sanisha, occasional childcare in Crewton DE24

My name is Sanisha and I am 21 years old. I have recently completed a BA hons degree in Early Years and Psychology. Alongisde my degree I have completed an Early Years Initial Teacher Training Course. Also, previously before completing my degree I undertook a level 3 Diploma within Childcare and Education.

I am looking for both babysitting and part-time care. I want to be able to offer as much of my experience and care that I can for parents/carers.

I believe that my qualities as a childminder are being practical and imaginative. I know that working with children across the ages, fun experiences where both risk assessments are made aware but imagination and fun is used, encourages children to develop their own skills and abilites. From working alongside other professionals such as; speech and language therapists, it is important to communicate with parents/carers effectively and regularly.

I currently work within a children's soft play centre so I have 3 and a half years experience of hosting birthday parties and playing games such as; musical statues/bumps and pass the parcel with children aged 1-7 years. I also have an endless list of nursery rhymes with actions that I know children aged 0-3 enjoy. This includes; tiny tim, round and round the garden, twinkle twinkle little star, five little men in a flying saucer and many more.

I believe that group activities such as ; ball games, duck duck goose, just dance and role play all create a fun learning experiences for children. Children learn about sharing, turn taking, problem solving and patience as they are interacting with others.
