Hello, my name is Lisa Seal, I am 21 years old and I am a recent graduate from Canterbury Christ Church University after studying Psychology and Applied Criminology. I maintained excellent grades and consider myself to be a responsible and sensible person that is more than capable of helping a family out with childcare needs. I am patient, understanding, reliable and for what I lack in experience, I more than make up for in willingness to learn.
I love children and would love the opportunity to gain more experience of caring and working around them. Previously I have completed two segments of work experience in primary schools as a teaching assistant and I loved and enjoyed the experience. I helped children to settle in to school for the day, helped organize class activities and also support the children in their work. I have spent the majority of my life in education settings which is evidence of my passion for learning and I feel that this is something that is key and would be extremely useful when being around children of all different ages.
In terms of my University life, while studying psychology I have studied modules that focused on child development and these were some of the modules I enjoyed the most. They taught us some of the stages that children go through to learn in life and how crucial certain milestones are and so I have a good understanding of child development.
I am looking for any babysitting roles or part-time roles, I can drive and have held my licence for over a year and a half. I can help if parents are out of the house in the evenings/night aswell, I am very flexible in terms of hours and days needed.
Thank you
