I am 52 years old and a UK citizen born and bred. I raised 2 daughters who graduated with degrees and now have good jobs and are married. I have an 18 year old son who still lives with me.
When I left school I did the first year of the nanny qualification NNEB at college. When I was 28 I completed city & guilds working with children under 8, level 2. I was a registered childminder while my daughters were children.
Until recently I have been working as a support worker with a young adult woman with autism so I had a DBS check done for that job. I felt I could not carry on, as outdoors, when she would run in the park for example, I could not keep up with her.
For the reason I would prefer to only take care of children in their home, i.e. not take them out and about.
I enjoy supervising children with creative activities (good at clearing up the mess after also)
I enjoy singing rhymes and playing peeka boo.
Board games are great too.
I believe I am kind and caring and understanding. Friends' children always love me.
