I am a profoundly deaf tutor of BSL.
I have taught in Further Education for 14 years and a primary school for 5 years.
I am also a fully qualified Hairdresser.
I communicate naturally with children who use sign language and also other children who may lipread or have a cochlear implant.
I am reliable and very patient and also love encouraging conversation through play activities.
I have experience with Autistic children .
I am easy to get along with and understand the impact and challenges deafness has on a family unit. it is important that the family unit can all communicate and understand each other. I am fluent in English and British Sign Language. I am comfortable and confident within a bilingual family environment.
