Hello I am laura and live in barrow in furness and have looked after children since I was 11 and my brother was born. Once I turned 12 I started looking after a family friends child if six months old with the help of my mum and as I became more confident I starting doing on my own and as the child is now 10 years old I still have her occasionally. I have worked part time for two families working with children aged 6 to 12, helping with homework, keeping them entertained during the holidays, putting them to bed and driving them to school. I have also worked in many dif fervent school settings and am now volunteering in a primary school in year 2. I have been there for nearly 4 years now. I have a bachelors degree with honors in education and professional studies. And am starting a part time course in autism in september. I am looking into attending a first aid course at some point in the next few months.
I am looking for babysitting and part time care jobs please. Although I am quiet children tend to get along with me. I can inforce rules and dicipline as an when needed without scaring the child. I can hold driving license and love to drive. I love reading children story books and believe children should read more books.
Occasional babysitting | $7.50 per hour |
Partial / after-school care | $7.00 per hour |
Baby sitting is 7.50 an hour due to the unpredictability of the hours and sometimes having to drop plans to come do babysitting. And the 7.00 for part time care is due to doing extra on top of caring for the children such as helping with homework and doing a few odd household chores, also goes towards petrol money.
