Ope, occasional childcare in Chatham

I am a 22 year old History Graduate who wants to increase the confidence of children and young people in academics and I working towards a teaching and counselling career.

I am looking to tutor between Key Stages 1 to 2 in maths, english and 11+. I have worked as a library assistant for over 4 years across London boroughs and a proportionate part of my job has leaned towards working with young people. I was part of the free support scheme that offered children, who were struggling to reach their academic targets in maths and English from Key Stage 1 to early Key Stage 3. I sat down weekly with 4 to 10 children and worked through their particular academic issues. Furthermore, I have worked as a Teaching Assistant in a mainstream primary school, in both 1:1 settings and small groups.

I am also willing to baby sit and nanny as I have experience in pastoral care also. I have worked as an au-pair for a family of three so I have experience of pastoral care, as I helped around the house, did the school run and helped with homework. I cooked with the kids and took them out to various parks, and other enjoyable pass time activities.

I am an enthusiastic and bubbly individual who thoroughly enjoys working with children from all backgrounds and dedicated to helping each child reach their potential.
