I am a 22 year old History Graduate who wants to increase the confidence of children and young people in academics and I working towards a teaching and counselling career.

I am looking to tutor between Key Stages 1 to 2 in maths, english and 11+. I have worked as a library assistant for over 4 years across London boroughs and a proportionate part of my job has leaned towards working with young people. I was part of the free support scheme that offered children, who were struggling to reach their academic targets in maths and English from Key Stage 1 to early Key Stage 3. I sat down weekly with 4 to 10 children and worked through their particular academic issues. Furthermore, I have worked as a Teaching Assistant in a mainstream primary school, in both 1:1 settings and small groups.

I am also willing to baby sit and nanny as I have experience in pastoral care also. I have worked as an au-pair for a family of three so I have experience of pastoral care, as I helped around the house, did the school run and helped with homework. I cooked with the kids and took them out to various parks, and other enjoyable pass time activities.

I am an enthusiastic and bubbly individual who thoroughly enjoys working with children from all backgrounds and dedicated to helping each child reach their potential.

Ope worked with us an aupair for about 2 months in 2016. She looked after 3 boys aged 1 - 11. She engaged them well in play and discussion from science to the everyday mundane. She also took them on walks and park visits. She is clearly comfortable with kids of any age and finds a way to engage their interest however varied - she navigated easily between nursery rhymes and car races on the PS4 ! I think she would find her feet in any scenario.
