Maggie, occasional childcare in Dartford DA1

Hello, my name is Maggie and I am 18 years old. I come from a rather large family, I have 5 sisters and three brothers and many more cousins and such too. My mother's health was very bad when we were growing up, she had a rare condition called Addison's disease which spiked up a lot of other problems, so doing as much as I could around the home and taking care of my siblings became a normality for me and I loved it. These duties included cooking, cleaning, laundry, ironing, taking my younger siblings to school, and more personal care of my mother. So any help that may be needed in a home I am more than happy to provide. Two of my siblings are autistic, so I have experience dealing with mild autism and more severe autism. My father is seperated from my mother and has a wife and they have two children, Jack and Rose. I am their first point of contact when needed to take care of them for a few days or late nights.
Because of my love for taking care of children and even lending a hand at home, I became my cousins primary babysitter for his severely autistic son, Bobby, who is so sweet and a treasure to be around and now 8 years old. Some of his needs are more severe, but It is all worth it to see him smile and be so emotive, when he can't with others.
I babysit all my nephews and youngest cousins, I have been babysitting my first nephew, Joey ever since he was a couple of months old and he is now three years old and so lovely! I will still babysit my friends children, or family whenever they need.

Some other activities I can engage the children in is singing, playing instruments like guitar and ukulele, video games with the children if that is something they enjoy, trips to places such as the park etc, reading them stories. I am open to help in anyway the child/family needs.

I find it very easy to get along with children, and I am passionate that every child deserves to be treated with the utmost care, which will help them develop, learn and most importantly, be happy. I am very patient, kind, hardworking and honest. All things important to ensure a child is being given the best care. Now that I've moved away from London to Dartford, I miss the chance to be able to have this role every day, and now I would like to apply my skills, knowledge and passion to the right families.
