Hannah, occasional childcare in Glasgow

I am very passionate about working with, looking after and generally being around children. I would absolutely 100% have children of my own, if circumstances allowed me to! In the meantime I try to surround myself with little ones as much as possible, learning so much in the process!
I am bilingual, I speak English as well as I do German.
From 2016 to 2019 I had 3 years of full babysitting/nanny/childminder experience. I worked sometimes 3 or 4 days a week with several families, alongside my studies, whilst living in Berlin, Germany.
Though I do not have any qualifications, I can provide proof of several nursery placements and references from the families I worked with. I have a lot of experience with children of different age groups, I have previously worked in a nursery, babysitted 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10 year olds very frequently and looked after a baby every couple of weeks from age 4 months to 14 months. My tasks with previous families included, school/nursery pickup, cooking meals, providing learning activities for the children, bedtime routine, handling kids waking up after bedtime as well as spending whole weekends with the children, going to the zoo, the park, museums, going swimming etc. I’m up for anything and am confident to do so!
I learned to cook from a relatively young age and know all the basic kids meals. I always enjoyed making scrambled eggs with them! Also experienced with nappy changing, bathing kids (washing hair too!) and keeping them occupied. I like to read and sing and make up stories with children, but also enjoy a good creative crafting session. I used to babysit sometimes up to 4 or 5 times a week on afternoons after school, but also regularly on full days during the weekend and during the evening.
