I am a fit, healthy retired woman who enjoys looking after children. I am a granny and help with my grandchildren who live in England.
I can collect children from school/nursery, cook supper/tea for them, help with homework and other tasks.
As I was a home economics teacher I enjoy cooking and can do lots of other jobs in the home, ironing for example.
Until last year I had dogs. Now that they have died I miss the long
walks that helped fill the days.
I have plenty of energy. I am known for my patience. I always found, as a teacher, that I got far more positive results from pupils with humour and patience.
I love playing board games, building LEGO and reading with my 5 year old grandson and .have taught all 3 (ages 5, 12 and 19) to bake.I also taught the girls to sew.

Explanation:

As I live in the Borders I'd have to pay for my petrol costs. I am prepared to do other tasks which could offset my rate of pay ...I enjoy ironing and cooking. I am a retired home economics teacher so am handy around the house. I have 3 grandchildren 5, 12 and 19 years so plenty of experience.
