Jade, occasional childcare in Llanharan

My names Jade, I'm 21 years old. I live in Llanharan and I drive so am able to travel wherever needed and also able to pick up children from school/holiday clubs if required. I am Level 3 qualified in Children's Care Learning and Development and am currently working towards my Foundation Degree in Early Years part time in college. I have 3 and a half years experience of working with children aged 0-5 years in a private day nursery. Whilst working at the nursery I also babysat regularly for a number of families. This involved me taking the children home from nursery, preparing their dinner and following their evening routines. I also babysit during school holidays and weekends. This involves me keeping the children occupied throughout the day by carrying out activities to suit their age, taking them on daily outings such as birthday parties, soft play areas, to the park or to the library etc. I feel that my skills involve being caring, enthusiastic and fun-loving which I feel are all important when looking after children so they feel happy and safe in my care. I also feel that I am able to build relationships with children of all ages and I am able to communicate well with the children and also the parents/carers to feedback how their children have been throughout the day.
