Madeleine, occasional childcare in London

Hi my name is Madeleine but Mads is absolutely fine!

I am an incredibly energetic and bubbly girl very eager to help families in need of a little extra help.

A bit about me, I am a second year history student at the University of Warwick, living in central Leamington Spa. I love sport, especially hockey, being a keen member of the Ladies club at uni. I come from a large Irish family and therefore have no issue looking after children from baby to teenage years.

For 3 years at secondary school I helped out at my local Brownies Club, with the responsibility of helping and looking after the younger girls. I helped to teach them to work collaboratively to create friendships and learn how to work within a group. I therefore have no problem keeping children entertained consistently.

For 2 years I undertook an intense cookery course receiving a First Class Pass in Leiths Diploma of Food and Wine. I am incredibly happy and confident to cook healthy food for the whole family to enjoy. I am very health conscious and oppose ready made meals as I can make equally delicious home made meals.

I would be happy helping children with their homework as I am very confident in my academic abilities receiving 11 A*-A grades at GCSE, A levels grades of AAB and a 2:1 in my first year of university. Furthermore, for 3 years at secondary school I was a tutor for younger girls and I was awarded the role of setting up a tutoring and learning support for younger girls. I am therefore very conscious of independent learning and giving children the basis and foundation to answers for them to feel the achievement of discovering the answer for themselves.

I would feel honoured to be considered worthy of helping your family and helping your children grow and flourish.
