Ellena-lily, occasional childcare in Stone cross BN24

Hello, my name is Ellena-Lily . I am 17 years old and are currently studying Early Years Educator in my second year of college. From my first year on my college course, I received a Level 3 Child Care qualification- 1 year. I am working towards my Level 3 Child Care qualification- 2 years.
I enjoy looking after young children as I was brought up with many brothers and sisters. From a young age I have been helping to look after them from newborn. This involved me bottle feeding, changing nappies, feeding and baby sitting.
I then wanted to study Child Care at college so enrolled for a course called Early Years Educator and got my place on it. My course involves me learning about children's development and their needs, safe guarding, policies and procedures within a setting, and Early Years Current Framework.
As part of my course, I attend a placement. I am currently at a pre-school on Mondays and Tuesdays looking after and carrying out activities for children aged 3-4 years. Before this setting I was at a private nursery looking after babies aged 0-1 years. This involved bottle feeding, preparing snack time and supervising/joining in with their play.
I am a very patient and calm person and this benefits when working with children. I enjoy engaging with the children at my pre-school and watching what they enjoy doing.
