Amira, occasional childcare in Todmorden

Hello!

My name is Amira and I am 21 years old. I just moved to Todmorden in January on a two-year work visa from Toronto, Canada.

I have always worked with infants, toddlers, children and teenagers. I absolutely love it. I also have two younger sisters age 3 and 5. Having them in the family has taught me a lot about what it means to raise a child as well as teach them fundamentals.

I have five years of work experience in summer camp ( ages 7-14) and three years in swim instructing (infants to adults). I was a camp counsellor for three years responsible for a group of 8-10 children per week and a camp director for two years in charge of whole camp and staff. As a swim instructor I was teaching 30 to 60 minute lessons on technique and first aid. I have also taught many "Parent and Tot" classes for parents and their babies. Finally, I have standard first aid CPR-C and emergency first aid qualifications. I can also give references from employers and parents I have babysat for.
