Verity, occasional childcare - LU7 Leighton buzzard

Currently, I am in my first year of my A levels studying; Leisure, Philosophy and Ethics and Sociology. These are all subjects I am really passionate about and cannot wait to use them in my career. The one I am most passionate about is Sociology as I enjoy the in-depth thinking behind each case study and one-day hope to use this subject unparticular within youth work.

As part of juggling my studies my time management has improved a huge amount, I feel this will aid in making the next step where I would like a challenge and to be stretched. I am the type of person that strives to do their best; as a result of this I push myself to achieve this goal of mine. I have excellent customer service skills that I have developed through my previous jobs.

A little about my personal life and me: I come from a large family, so family means a lot to me. Every Sunday morning I go for a walk with my dog, Lily, and some siblings to my gran’s house to say hello and have a cup of tea and some biscuits. I am a huge animal lover and have several pets in my house right now; my dog, my sisters’ tiny tortoise and my other sisters’ rabbit.
In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with my friends, going to parties and shopping. I am also learning to drive as I have just recently turned 17. I am enjoying this very much. I cannot wait to be able to drive myself to new places and start having some adventures with my friends and family.
