I adore working with children of all ages. I am warm and approachable and have a lot of experience working with children in various roles: as a nanny, in children’s homes, social care and psychotherapy. I really enjoyed my work as a nanny with a 5-6 year old boy, and I am looking for work to supplement my part-time role as a child psychotherapist. I have also spent time looking after my nieces, now aged 5 and 8.

I am trained in attachment and offer a high quality service where the child’s needs are always priority. I am flexible and can tailor my approach to your individual parenting style. I believe in learning through play and while I am with your child my mobile phone remains in my bag (but switched on in case you call). I am happy to watch TV with children, though my previous employer requested no TV time, meaning we spent the time learning and playing together instead. I therefore do not rely on TV as a means of distraction. If there is downtime while a child has a nap I am happy to do bits and pieces around the house which can be agreed between us. My Experience
Sole care of boy aged 5-6 for 16 hours per week over 1.5 years. Included housekeeping, school pickups, activities, homework help, cooking meals, holiday care, bathing, putting to bed etc. Experience with children of all ages in various roles.

My Qualifications
Paediatric first aid, enhanced DBS check (update service), social worker, child psychotherapist, residential childcare worker, previous nanny experience, auntie, and soon to be mum (due May 2019)!

My Availability
My availability may be negotiable and subject to change to suit the family’s needs. I am 14 weeks pregnant at the time of updating my profile, so I am looking particularly for temporary work or families who need a nanny on an ad hoc basis.
