Sarah, occasional childcare in Snaresbrook E11

I am an extremely creative, energetic, and compassionate individual and I love working with children. I have meticulous organizational skills and patient nature and am able to create a fun and supportive environment in which children can learn and develop. I am very flexible and happy to adapt to any routines already in place for the children.

Alongside my childcare work, I am an actress, therefore lots of my work with children has been in a performing arts context whether that be entertaining or teaching. In a Nannying context, I can utilize my transferable skills from my acting career such as my intuition, communication, and imagination to stimulate and engage children while they are in my care.

I am also a confident driver and would be happy to do school pick up/drop off and plan fun days out. Additionally, I’m handy in the kitchen so would be able to make a range of healthy nutritious food.

I have a Nannied for an 11month old boy for four months, during this time I fed him, changed him, put him down for naps, and took him out for daily walks and activities. Additionally, I have nannied for two sisters aged 2 and 5 over the holidays.

I have previously worked as a teaching assistant and have experience working with both Reception and Year 2 classes.

I have worked with children in a range of different contexts. I am a Princess Party Entertainer on the weekends, where I perform and facilitate games and entertainment at events for children aged around 2-10yrs old.

I have taught both LAMDA and Performing Arts to children for a number of years including working for Perform drama school and currently cover movement and music classes for 0-5yr olds at the Redbridge Drama Centre.
