Maya, occasional childcare in Southend-on-sea

Hi, My name is Maya and I am a 18 year old who has just finished my A Levels.
I have been babysitting my cousins and family friends for many years and have recently entered into more professional nanny work. I am able to look after any age from months to years.

My qualities as a childcarer are I am patient, friendly and reliable.
I always make sure the child is happy and always respect what the parent wants.
Although I am young, I understand the responsibility it is looking after somebodies child and it is my top priority to make sure they are safe and that both the child and parent are happy with my service.
From previous experience, I know how to handle situations that need me to think of my feet, and I like to think of myself as a very quick thinker to ensure any problems are solved immediately.

I have 9 GCSEs and have just taken 3 A Levels, therefore I can offer help with homework which I understand is an important part of the child's education.
I have completed an online first aid course on choking for all ages.
Although I don't have a full qualification, I have a wide knowledge of first aid and child safety so there would never be a need to worry about safety.
Fun is a big part of childhood and I can certainly provide a fun atmosphere for any child, whether that is through a film or a game or even just a conversation, as I know different parents and children will have different preferences.
