Emily, occasional childcare - SS1 Southend-on-sea

I am a college student who has completed an Award in Children's Care, Learning and Development at college, whilst I was completing my Childcare qualification I spent 9 months working in a local primary school as part of my work experience and carried out many group activities as well as individual activities with the children across the 3-8 years old age range. I am looking to care for young children either as a babysitter or to assist in part-time care and will take part in any task that the parents require me to do. I have a full DBS check to say that I am safe to work with children. My qualities when working with children are that I am kind, caring, considerate, active, punctual, polite and patient. I have experience with caring for children from a young age through helping to care for my Brother and Sisters as well as with my work experience in a nursery for my Year 10 work experience and the volunteer work I did in a school, during all of my experience I have played many games, created educational activities and sang many nursery rhymes with the children as well as reading bedtime stories and general stories in the daytime.
