Sophie Pearl, occasional childcare in Whitworth OL12

I am 22 years old and thoroughly enjoy working with children. Since 2011, I have worked as a children's party host, teaching assistant and a nursery nurse. I have a love and unserstanding of children and a commitment to giving them a high standard of care. I am a patient person with good communication skills. My experience as a 1:1 TA with a child with severe and complex autism demanded these and skills. During my time at the school, I also managed classrooms of up to 30 children, delivered lessons and lead breakfast and after school clubs. I gained experience across the school working with ages 4-11 years old. I currently work part time at a nursery (3 days a week) as I could no longer work full time at the school due to university demands. Here I work with children aged between 6 months and 4 years old. I have a good knowledge of rhe national curriculum and the EYFS. I am in the final 4 months of my degree in Early Childhood and Education BA Hons, which has allowed me to further develop my understanding of childcare and education. I am flexible and would love an opportunity to help a family with their child care needs.
