Ruth, offer childcare - NN11 Daventry

We would like to find a childminder or babysitter who can gradually build a relationship with our 2 year old daughter, so that my partner and I can go out alone occasionally! This could be weekday evenings (our home - we could pick you up and drop you back if you don’t have transport), or daytime at the weekends (your home or ours).

My daughter has just started nursery 3 mornings per week, but apart from this has been only looked after by myself or my partner.

I would like a kind and caring person with experience of this age group to be able to look after our daughter for a few hours here and there on an ad hoc basis. You don’t need to be particularly fun or entertaining ;) - the most important thing for us is that you are empathetic and can remain calm to gain our daughter’s confidence and build a trusting relationship with her. We do not have any relatives locally that we can lean on for occasional childcare, so we are looking for an ‘Aunty’ or ‘Nanny’ figure who we can feel comfortable to leave our daughter with occasionally.
