Caroline, offer part-time childcare in Bramhall SK7

Job Required: Part Time mothers’ helper (special needs experience not essential as learning on the job can be done)

Our daughter is nearly 5 years and has the following set of special needs

· Hemiplegic - Cerebral Palsy right side (very mobile, walking and running)
· Visual Impairment (has useful sight)
· Cleft Lip and Palate (delayed speech)
· Oral feeding difficulties - Gastrostomy (tube fed)

Hours
AM - help getting ready for school and drop off (7.15am to 9.15am) 3-4 mornings a week.
PM - back for afternoon work Monday to Friday 3pm to 6pm
NB: Friday could possibly be a longer day eg:12-6pm

If flexible there could possibly be some babysitting weekend work . If interested in only the mornings or only the afternoons then please still get in touch

Poppy is an absolute delight and loves playing and learning. She is developing well physically and cognitively. She is a very active little girl and is always on the go. She attends Queensgate Primary School, Bramhall in the mornings for half days so it is the school morning drop offs and afternoons /early eve help we are looking for.

Job Role:
. allowing mum to get well needed rest as she now has chronic back pain
from being a full time carer and doing lots of lifting
. help with getting ready for school
· help carry out play sessions at home and create stimulation through new experiences
· assist with at home play sessions, reading books, homework
· help with ‘messy food play’ to encourage eating
· help with small outings, parks, library, craft, etc
· sorting and making up feeds and tube feeding (easy to learn)
. help with bath time and bedtime

The job is to commence first week of January as our existing mothers' helper (whom has been with us for 15 months) is pregnant and finishing at xmas to start her own family. She will be available for any shadow work or help before then so you can get to know Poppy's ways and routine and we would pay for any time you invest in getting to know Poppy before the job starts Jan
