We require support to look after our 3 year old boy at either end of the day during the week and occasionally at weekends. His mother is recovering from a period in hospital and his father needs to return to work. The main aim is to find weekday support in split shifts and the post may be suitable for two people working flexibly.
Morning cover would be required from 0630 until nursery drop off at 0830, and the afternoon would be from nursery pick up 1630 until bedtime or dad comes home from work about 7-8pm. We can adjust nursery times a little if that helps get a suitable candidate. We probably have Tuesday and Thursday evenings covered with our former nanny.
Our son is a very healthy and capable 3 year old, and is rapidly becoming independent. He needs only a little supervision if provided with the right activity but hands on care at bath-time and around the bedtime routine, and provision of meals would be essential.
Own vehicle and driving license would be essential.
Experience of mental health conditions (e.g. post natal depression) would be highly desirable.
We also have a dog (Springer Spaniel, friendly and playful).
