Mothers help needed! I am looking for someone to help claw back my house from the grips of my two boys (9 months & 3.5 years old), three mornings a week.
Duties:
I am looking for someone who can help my eldest get dressed & fed for nursery then drop him off for 9am (3 min drive). After this primarily I need help with mainly child related housework and laundry (including hoovering and emptying dishwasher). Other areas of of assistance would be: Looking after my youngest for short periods so I can do an activity with my eldest & vice versa, or perhaps go for a swim myself, do admin. Meal preparation. Craft / baking / outdoor activities / playgroups. This is just a starting point.
Hours:
For the first month I am looking for 10/12 hours a week, split over 3 mornings ideally: Monday, Wednesday & Friday. We can be flexible with the days and hours for the right person. This will be new for us to have someone in the house helping, so to begin with it’ll be finding out what exactly works best.
Once we’ve determined this, hours would be regular during term time but tbd over the holidays. Due to the nature of my husband’s work we do sometimes travel with him, plus during the holidays (summer especially) we often spend extended periods of time with the grandparents. During these times the role would be your holiday time or keeping an eye on the house: Removing post from the hall, watering plants and catch up on laundry etc. We would not expect you to work from 24 December until 1 January.
About us:
Mainly I am a stay at home mother, however I do also assist my husband with his business as well. He works mostly from home when he is not abroad on a job. My eldest son is currently at nursery 4 times a week, however I’d possibly like to reduce that in the new year to 3 times, or shorter sessions, with the right person helping at home.
