Megumi, offer part-time childcare - NE30 North shields

We are looking for part time childcare for our little boy James (currently 1 year, 7 months) starting in June 2023 for about 30+ hours a week across 5 days including weekends, mostly at home, although we do live near a local park and are not far from the beach.

James is an active, happy boy who enjoys pointing out different cars and birds in front of our sitting room window, kicking a football about, and drawing. He also loves settling down for a read and puzzles. Basically he is curious about everything and we would be keen to find someone who is patient and caring to support his development. James also speaks some Mandarin Chinese, Taiwanese and Japanese around the house with me, and we'd be keen for him to acquire further languages if you had one to share!

Duties would involve picking him up from Nursery on Thursdays, preparing simple meals for James, making sure his play areas are neat, tidy and safe. In addition to nappies, James is also starting to be potty trained, so someone who is patient in that regard would be a big plus. He loves to be sung to sleep, so bring your favourite tunes!

Every once in a while I might book the odd playgroup for him to attend, but you will be reimbursed for travel. A driving license is not required, as we live between two metro stations. Please have an up to date DBS check.
