Stuart, offering childcare - NE25 Earsdon for the 7 November 2022

We are looking for a live-out / full time nanny to help us with our 3 year old son, Ethan. Ethan has recently had a heart transplant and suffered several strokes as a result of the prolonged stay in hospital. The strokes have left his left side severely weakened and he has limited use of his left hand/arm, reasonable use of his left leg and cannot see well from his left eye. That said, he is a happy 3 year old who likes to blow kisses, wave, go for walks and interact with people. He can use his tablet and has a good grasp of the alphabet, colour and numbers. We are looking for someone who can assist in meeting Ethan's general needs (hygiene, getting dressed, play and care) along with helping with his recovery (physio, learning/games). Any additional therapy or special needs experience is good, though not critical. As Ethan is immunosuppressed, a temperature check is needed before seeing him and a facemask for an initial period. We are flexible with the position as Ethan may need a couple of part-time Nannies or a single full-time Nanny. Own transport and Non-smoker are preferred.
