Lisa, OFSTED childminder - GL20 Tewkesbury

My name is Lisa and I have been a childcare practitioner for over 12 years. I have a level 3 in childcare and I have previously worked in nurseries for the first 8 years of my career in childcare and primarily worked with babies. My first role in a nursery was to run the baby room which I thoroughly enjoyed. I have worked with all different age groups but mostly enjoy working with babies or toddlers as this is where I have the most experience. I have spent the last 4 years of my career working on cruise ships with children between the ages of 6 months to 5 years old and have just completed a year in a nursery within a cruise ship, caring and preparing activities for children between the ages of 6 month to 3 years old. I am very passionate about my job and I feel it is time to look for a job where I can be close to my family and continue to learn and grow. I am really keen to take on nannying role as I would prefer to work within a family environment providing more of a personalized experience.
