Shaunna, OFSTED childminder in Herne bay

Hi my name Shaunna I am 18 and in September 2015 I will start studying Early Years Preparing to work in the childhood sector. I have a CRB check as i help at a dance school where I dance will many young children and I always seem to have a good connection with them. My qualities as a childcarer is that my sister was having a baby and as she was still living at home so I was by her side helping her from the day she gave birth. I was up with her baby daughter most nights feeding and burping her and getting her back to sleep which I did three times during the night. I grew up with my baby neice for a year and a half and I loved watching and helping her grow up into the little toddler she is now. I am used to cleaning dirty nappies, feeding and burping etc.. I played many games with my niece and my sister always counted on me to look after her and play with her when she needed a rest. Unfortunately my sister moved out but to this day me and my neice are still very close as she will hear my voice and then shout my name or say auntie and come looking for me, and she has only recently turned 2. I love working with children as I believe that i have a great connection with them.
