Ruth, OFSTED childminder in Bexley DA15

My name is Ruth . I am 41 years old and have three children between the ages of six and twelve. I have spent the last ten years bringing them up to be polite, kind and caring individuals. We enjoy making crumbles, cakes, pizza and biscuits together. I have helped to teach my children how to ride a bike and swim. We enjoy playing over the park and having fun watching my children climbing trees and playing hide and seek with them. I help my children with their homework when necessary.

I am looking for part-time work with a teachers family so that it fits in with my own family life as much as possible. I love working with special needs children. I have worked with an ADHD child years ago and would love the opportunity to do it again at some stage.

I am kind, considerate, confident and put children's needs before my own. I love working with children as they all have their own unique personalities and most love to have a cuddle. I can play the piano and enjoy singing and reading stories to children.

For the last two and a half years I have helped out at a toddler group each week and I love talking to the parents and playing with the children. I read a story to them and at the end of the session we sing songs together and play ring games such as" Ring a ring a roses." We always finish with the " Hokey Cokey" which the children love! I also help set up and tidy up at the end.
