My name is Michaela and I am an Ofsted registered childminder in Clifton-Swinton Area, Manchester. I live with my partner Michal and he is registered childminder assistant. I offer a home based childcare service. We are loving, playful and genuine people whose passion it is to provide childcare and support parents with any needs they may have with their child’s development. My childcare business is named 'Childminding by Little Rascal' and caters for a maximum of 6 children per day, between 6 months to eight years of age. The ages and numbers of children being cared for vary on each day due to the day of childcare that have been requested by parents.

I feel I am a great option as I offer an environment that enables your child to express and develop their play and development. I have lots of toys and provide plenty of activities for the children to do. I also go out to local parks, attend playgroups, Rhyme time, visit local libraries and go to soft play centres, but also let the children have some time to play in a home environment.

I do many educational adult-led activities and child led free-play on a daily basis which develops areas of learning in literacy, communication, physical exercise, crawling and walking, pen control, numeracy, art and design, knowledge of the World, personal, social and emotional development.

All children have use of a garden which has a range of outdoor toys – slide, Wendy house, sand & water tables, balls etc.
The room are child orientated, colourful and filled with toys and equipment for children of all different ages.
Childminding by Little Rascal is situated close to Bolton Road, L.I.V.I.A Silverdale Park and The Funhouse (indoor children play centre).
Parents are kept informed about their child’s learning development and daily routine through an online digital learning journeys with Baby’s Days, it is designed for nurseries and childminders and includes Daily Diaries, planned activities, Menu’s, Observation and tracks stages of a child’s development to the Early Year Outcomes, Development Matters. I provide daily emails containing photos so parents can see what we have been doing and how happy their children are. I complete for all children daily logs for all activities they have done, food they have eaten, sleeps they have had, nappy changes and any comments I have on their development or something cute they did or said.
