Sunhaven offers stimulating, educational and fun care for children aged 0-8 years, following the early years foundation stage requirements (EYFS). I offer full and part-time places, including after school care, with pick ups from St Germans Primary School.

I am registered to look after 6 children at a time, and have full public liability insurance; including business insurance on my car to take the children on outings.

I provide high quality, loving and fun childcare, with lots of involvement from parents in regards to their children's learning and development. There are many toys, activities and resources for the children to fill their day with, such as sand and water play, dressing up, arts and crafts, dollies and animals, digging and planting in the garden, sensory play, and much much more.

I endeavour to take the children out and about as much as possible for walks around the village or to the park with Oakley the puppy, picnic lunches on the village green, or for trips into Kings Lynn for messy day clubs or to see the animals the local farm parks. The children’s day will be a healthy mix between adult-led and child-led activities, and always centred around the children’s interests.

Through my teaching and care I support children by providing them with a variety of learning opportunities to build self esteem and support their social, physical and emotional development. The children are encouraged to be independent; to learn to make their own decisions, dress and feed themselves, to resolve conflicts and solve problems between each other. Alongside all of this, it is my highest priority to provide a warm and welcoming environment where the children are happy, healthy and are having fun as children should!
