Leonie, OFSTED childminder - LN2 Lincoln

Hi I am Leonie , I'm 25 years old and have been married 3 years nearly. I live near the centre of Lincoln. I have 2 pet cats and love all animals.
Although I have no professional experience of working with children as such, I have helped bring up my 7 year old sister as I was 17 when she was born and my mum needed a lot of help. I also help with care for my 3 year old nephew too and look forward to doing the same when my niece is born in a few months time.
I have experience with all aspects of childcare in the home including medicine and care in that aspect as my sister has a kidney disorder. I have no problems with nappy changing, putting to bed, bathing, playing, cooking and feeding. I have my own car so I can take children out to parks, farms etc if that's what is required.
I also have experience and understanding with children and autism as a close friend and also a niece on the other side of my family are affected by this.
I have many friends with children who I often spend time with.
I am happy to go thru a DBS check as I currently don't have one. My last job was in a cafe, cooking and serving. Previous jobs include, post office, wedding venue, supermarket, florist shop and cleaning.
I currently help my grandparents for 1 day a week doing shopping, cleaning, general help with tasks and caring.
I feel I am conscientious, always work hard in what job I am given, helpful, kind, careful, considerate, enjoy playing, reading stories, helping children learn and play in all aspects.
