Funke, OFSTED childminder - ME10 Sittingbourne

Does your little one enjoy going to the park, play groups, libraries, soft play, cafes, see animals, visiting galleries and concerts? - Yes, we do.
Outdoor activities are what i enjoy doing with children. It is a win-win!!! I have recently moved from London (Sydenham) to Sittingbourne.
I show them lots of LOVE and LISTEN to show them that they matters alot, so that they can be CONFIDENT and GREAT in life. At the same time, i create BOUNDARIES for them so that our day can run smoothly and children feel safe and secure.

I am a registered childminder with up to 11 years of child minding experience and worked for a family as a nanny for 7 years in a part-time position during my studies. I am fun, bubbly and self-aware, with lots of passion for working with children. I have a degree in Sociology and a good knowledge and use of safeguarding practice, as I have undertaken several courses in this area.

I have a relatively good knowledge of child development and understand the aspects of development like separation/attachment.

Would you like your child to be in home atmosphere: going outside, going on adventure, sharing stories, eating healthily, singing all the way, being a free soul and learning? - Yes we do. This is what i love about being a registered childminder. Some of my interests are singing, going for walks, baking and the Arts. I plan my daily/weekly activities around these interests as well as other yearly activities.
I used to help in coordinating singing sessions at Sydenham library.

My home environment is stimulating, peaceful, and validating for children/babies through their development. There is direct access to nearby park and regularly attends other community set-up groups for support and to socialise. I have strong values children learning through play and encourage independent creativity and exploration while I remain a secure base.

I accept babies, 2 year olds, 3 year olds, 4 year olds before and after school are welcome too under government funding. Childcare vouchers are also accepted.

My Ofsted inspection grade is GOOD , April 2022
I am DBS checked.
