Kimela, OFSTED childminder in Middleton M24

I am a homebased Childminder living in the Alkrington area of Middleton. My home is a safe, warm and stimulating environment with a large garden for outdoor play. I live with my husband, two little boy Chihuahua’s, Alfie and Archie.
I follow the guidelines set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) for the children in my care. We take part in and arts & crafts , messy play, books, trips to the local parks and various toddler & baby groups. I like to build on positive relationships with children and create a love for learning, helping the children to achieve a strong foundation and become school ready.
I organise visits and outings to places of interest, sometimes spontaneously. Each child has a learning journal file, which tracks their development and progress. I endeavor to provide a 'happy, safe, clean, family oriented atmosphere' and cater for the needs of each individual child. As part of my work and whilst implementing the EYFS, I regularly complete observations and progress checks on the children in my care. This provides ongoing monitoring of children's progress and development in all areas of the EYFS.
I am fully qualified and I am registered with Ofsted, I have certificates in First Aid, and Safeguarding Children. I also hold Public Liability Insurance. At the entrance to my home I have displayed certificates for Ofsted Registration, Insurance certificate, Safeguarding policies and First Aid certificates.
