Jess, OFSTED childminder in Nanpean PL26

I am an ofsted registered childminder based in Nanpean. I live with my husband, our two children and our family dog. I provide a safe and nurturing environment and implement a holistic and fun approach to children’s learning and development.

I am a member of PACEY and the Quality Childminding in Cornwall network.

I work with parents to ensure children are happy in my setting and to carry over family routines and values as closely as possible.

Every child is treated as an individual. I carry out regular observations and development checks to keep track of childrens progress. I plan activities to specifically support personal developmental needs. Children's progress is recorded daily in a learning journal to enable them to share and celebrate thier achievements.

I have a fun child led approach to create new experiences and teach new skills. I offer a wide range of activities at home to support childrens learning and take daily trips out to local groups and venues.

I aim for every child to be exeeding in all areas of development when they leave my care to start school.
