Adriana, OFSTED childminder in Northampton

My name is Adriana, I am 27 years old. I started work with children when I was 21. During my studies I worked as a Nanny in Switzerland. I took care of adorable siblings Adrian (2 months) and Laura (2-year-old). My responsibilities inclouded:
- dressing the children
- bathing the children
- promoting and teaching good hygiene practices, including diapering
- preparing nutritious meals and snacks, including bottles and baby food
- doing the children’s laundry
- keeping the children’s areas neat and clean
- providing age-appropriate activities
- implementing and/or maintain the child’s routine
- putting children down for naps and/or bed
- creating a safe environment for the children to freely explore
- disciplining children when appropriate in a manner consistent with parents philosophy
- modeling and teaching good manners
- ensuring the children spend adequate time outdoors
- serving as a trusted companion to the children.
After I worked in Warsaw with 4-year-old boy Filip and sometimes I took care of his younger brother Ben (8 months). I transported Filip to and from activities and nursery, after it we used to play ball, paint, read books, ride a bike. When he was sick I took care of him all day.
In England I usually help my friends with their children aged from 1 to 5-year-old. We take them to playground, funpark, farms.
I love children and taking attention of them because they are honest, cleaver, carefree and lern very fast. Taking care of children is very responsible and challenging work but I really like it, especially when I see their happines and big smile.
