Tiny, OFSTED childminder in Ollerton

I am a registered childminder and also level 3 qualified in early years and childcare. I have experience with children with ages ranging from 6 weeks to 9 years.
I am first aid and safeguarding trained and also hold a relevant food and hygiene certification. I provide a happy, caring, stimulating and learning environment with plenty of space both indoors and out. I am very lucky to live around the facilities such as Sherwood Forest and Idle valley which are fabulous trips out to allow the children to explore their natural environment.
I encourage outdoor play often and try to take the children outdoors as much as possible even if that is simply taking indoor activities outside into the garden. I have a variety of toys which cover all ages. I like to include messy play into my planning often such as sand and water, painting and play dough. I have weekly plans for the children which include each child's next development target. I have a programme which tracks child's development and captures their WOW moments through observations. This is accessible for parents to see so they can also keep up to date with their child's development progress but also what they have been up to regarding different activities or outings that have taken place.
I believe communication between parents and myself is absolute key therefore using the programme is a fantastic way for parents to see what their child is working towards developmentally. I also follow parents routines for things such as potty training, weaning etc so the child has complete consistency in routine.
